THEATER IN ASYLUM

Picture
Artistic Director and co-founder of Theater in Asylum (TIA), a New York-based theater company founded in 2010 to challenge and empower our community. TIA joyfully pursues rigorous research and an ensemble-driven approach to theater-making. We create performances to investigate our past, interpret our present, and imagine our future. We prize space to process, space to question—asylum—for ourselves and our community.

BREAD & PUPPET THEATER

Picture
Paul is puppeteers, tour books, markets, and produces for the Bread & Puppet Theater. For booking inquiries, please email Paul here.

Founded in 1963 by Peter Schumann on New York City’s Lower East Side, Bread and Puppet is one of the oldest, nonprofit political theatre companies in the country. The frequently touring company presents shows shows ranging from tightly composed theater pieces to extensive outdoor pageants which require the participation of many volunteers. As its founder has said, "We have two types of puppet shows: good ones and bad ones, but all of them are for good and against evil."
